317293398_640Established in 2002, Kalama Kuu is a relatively new development is the only set of townhouses in Kalama Valley, a quiet suburban area within the Hawaii Kai neighborhood.  The complex is nestled in the lush green atmosphere of Koko Crater Botanical Gardens and the Hawaii Kai Golf Course.  It is close in close proximity to the Makapuu Point lighthouse trail and beach park, Sandy Beach Park, Kamilo Iki Neighborhood Park, and the Hanauma Bay Beach Park.

There are 25, two-story townhouses with a total of 81 units.  These townhouses range from 1,085 to 1,782 square feet in size and have either two bedrooms and two bathrooms, three bedrooms and two bathrooms, or four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. All homes have large lanais.  Most all the units at Kalama Kuu have at least a one-car enclosed garage and typically have a 2nd uncovered stall. There is also a fair amount of guest parking. Past sales in 2007 ranged from $565,000 to $680,000, while the sales in 2008 ranged from $495,000 to $625,000.  In 2009, the prices ranged from $448,000 to $580,000.  In 2013, listed homes were about $600,000.

Amenities include BBQ area, private yard, whirlpool, recreation area, and walking and jogging path.  Security features include a security alarm system in each home.  There is a pet friendly policy but consult the house rules for more information.
